6th Annual Choral Composition Competition

The Choral Project COMPOSITION COMPETITION is open to high school students (grades 9-12) and undergraduate college students. The competition is designed to encourage the creation of original works for choir and to enable new collaboration between performers and composers. First place prize is $1,000, a live performance of the work in June, a recording of the live performance, and possible publication with Santa Barbara Music Publishing. Choral Mentorship Program

The Choral Project’s MENTORSHIP PROGRAM offers high school students the unique opportunity to sing with our experienced chorus members, receiving mentoring, musical training, and an invaluable performance opportunity.
