SAN JOSE, CA, September 10, 2018—The Choral Project (TCP), the award-winning community-based choir, is pleased to announce its 23rd Season with four concerts: WINTER’S GIFTS: JOURNEYS with SAN JOSE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA, December 15 & 16 (Palo Alto & Santa Clara); ART OF SOUND: SEEKING A HOME, February 9 & 10 (Santa Clara & Santa Cruz), SHINING NIGHT featuring Broadway artist Lisa Vroman (Phantom of the Opera & Aspects of Love), April 16 (San Jose), and EARTHSONGS: NEW DAYS, June 22 & 23 (Santa Cruz & Santa Clara).  As in years’ past, the concerts will take place at a variety of venues in Palo Alto, Santa Clara, San Jose, and Santa Cruz.

The Choral Project’s Founder, Artistic Director and Conductor Daniel Hughes says, “This season is about the human spirit, from our joint concert with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra — a holiday tradition — about physical and spiritual journeys, to concerts focusing on the problems of homelessness and human trafficking, and an uplifting, celebratory spring concert with Broadway soprano Lisa Vroman.

The best seating and patron benefits come with season subscriptions in four-concert and three-concert options, with discounts for seniors and students. New this year, the Choral Project has added a mini-subscription for its two performances in Santa Cruz.
