WINTER’S GIFTS: Spirit (Santa Clara)

The Choral Project and the San José Chamber Orchestra present their 15th annual concert collaboration “Winter’s Gifts,” revolving around the theme of “spirit.” The concert features works by a star-studded roster of composers, including Dominick Argento’s resplendent “Gloria” (from The Masque of Angels), Adrian Peacock’s rousing “Venite, Gaudete,” and John Paynter’s other-worldly composition “The Rose,” as well as gems by local favorite composers include Brent Heisinger’s “Walk Within Winter,” Michael Touchi’s arrangement of “Ocho Kandelikas,” Anica Galindo’s “Swept Away,” and a special work in memory of Jessye Norman.
