ART OF SOUND: Chiaroscuro

Continuing our tradition of offering a program of virtuosic and rarely performed choral masterpieces, we presents “The Art of Sound: Chiaroscuro.” The contrast of “light and shadow” is infused throughout this program, featuring music by Rautavaara, Burchard, Surinach, a world premiere by conductor Daniel Hughes, and a breathtaking setting for string quartet, piano, and choir of Anthony Silvestri’s poem “Luminous Night of the Soul.”
