This concert program explores myth & mysticism, legend & lore, and love & light. The diverse selection of repertoire includes Ola Gjeilo’s Renaissance-inspired Unicornis Captivator, R. Murry Schafer’s other-worldly Epitaph for Moonlight, and Charles Villier Stanford’s sublime setting of The Blue Bird. Other gems include A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square (made popular by The Manhattan Transfer), Artistic Director Daniel Hughes’ arrangement of Stephen Sondheim’s beautiful ballad Send in the Clowns, and a fully choreographed rendition of Harry Belafonte’s thrilling anthem of life Turn the World Around.

Sponsored, in part, by a grants from the Office of Cultural Affairs - City of San Jose, SVCREATES and Applied Materials Foundation, and generous support from First Republic Bank.
