2009-2010 Season of GivingWelcome to our 14th anniversary season. While The Choral Project is committed to healing our world through song, we felt that in this time of economic uncertainty, we wanted to collaborate with worthy charitable organizations such as Amnesty International, Hope Services, The Arc, and others whose mission is to help heal this planet in need. Make a difference. Join us in our "Season of Giving," as we share our gift of song with you, and share our blessings with others, in order to make this world the beautiful place we all know it can be. 
Gala Preview EventThe Choral Project kicks off its 2009-2010 season with a fun-filled evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes, and a preview of this season's upcoming concerts. Adding to the festivities, the evening will also include performances by The Choral Project’s two new vocal ensembles, Menharmonics, a men’s chorus, and Amaranth, a small vocal jazz ensemble. Bring your family and invite your friends to join us as we celebrate Season 14 in style! Winter's Gifts: HopeCelebrate the holidays with The Choral Project and the San José Chamber Orchestra in a concert that embraces the winter season with a program of music honoring our Latino communities. Songs from Spain and Latin America will fill your hearts with warmth, tradition, and culture. Conrad Susa's beloved "Carols & Lullabies" for choir, harp, marimba, and guitar, will serve as one of the evening's centerpieces. The Singing HeartThe Choral Project joins with Menharmonics and Amaranth in a stirring concert that captures and glorifies the joy, grace, and power of music. The concert will feature selections that celebrate singing, and its ability to transform and heal. Repertoire includes Paul Basler's rousing cross-cultural Alleluia, Bob Chilcott's touching setting of The Singing Heart, as well as several songs featuring all three ensembles together in performance. Saturday, March 20 at 8:00 PM Mission Santa Clara, Santa Clara Sunday, March 21 at 4:00 PM Tickets are $25 for general admission or $18 for student/senior (55+). Children uder 10 are FREE!
Light Out Of ShadowIn its final concert of the season, The Choral Project offers a program with a poignant message of freedom, social change, and finding light in times of darkness. Selections include movements from William Albright's stunning Chichester Mass, as well as stirring pieces by Stephen Paulus, Henryk Gorecki, Ysaye Barnwell, and Bob Dylan. Join us for an evening dedicated to change and courage.
